About Beyond Strong with Sue
Welcome! Beyond Strong with Sue was created by Suzanne Dashner, ACSM CPT to serve our community through an inclusive and flexible approach to fitness. Sue is a certified personal trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine and also holds certifications in Women's fitness (including pre-natal, postpartum, and menopause), Corrective Exercise and Mobility, and Training through Injury. Sue is also a competitive masters powerlifer, white mountain hiker, toddler mom and avid crocheter.

What types of training do you offer?
There's a few options for personal training: one-on-one (private) 30 or 60 minute sessions, buddy sessions (2 people), and small group sessions (3-5 people)
How do I get started with training?
If you're ready (or at least curious) send an email or give us a call. All clients start with a short call to address your questions and discuss goals. Then we'll schedule some time to meet in person for a more in depth conversation and some informal physical assessments to see what kind of training is right for you.
What should I bring to my first session?
Bring your party face because you did it! You took the first (and arguably the most difficult) step. But also bring sneakers, water, and a towel if you need it.
Do you offer group training sessions?
Yes, but small group training is based on availabililty of the participants. If small group training is what you're after, even if a class isn't running currently, let's still meet and we'll work with you to find other members that are a good fit for a small group class.
